What Is Democratic Socialism? How It Differs From Communism

The term ‘civil law’ contrasts with both ‘common law’ and ‘criminal law’. But the Obama Administration departs radically from the American tradition. But is it? Socialism has some big drawbacks that are not always visible on the surface and that could, over the long haul, hamper the overall progess of your country. Socialism is like smoking pot, your problems do not go away, but you care about them less. To clarify, Socialism makes the ‘status quo’ ok and encourages us, as a people , to not advance ourselves or to not better ourselves. Consider, if you were poor in America and had to pay the rent you would be motivated to improve your circumstances, and in so doing improve yourself. You would look for a better job, or seek out some form of higher education or skill training in order to correct the issue of being poor. In a socialist country, if you are poor then no worries the government will pay for things for you such as rent, food whatever. In the end, this makes it OK to be poor and removes the motivation to improve ourselves. This can be detrimental to a nationstate’s future social development. The socialist system only works well when a massive majority of the people are working and paying into that system. In a socialist state, when things like unemployment start to go up more people are on the rolls and this reduces the amount of actual taxpayers paying into the system. The motivation to improve yourself and get a new job or to be enterprising are greatly reduced as the hardships experienced through a loss of employment are greatly reduced. The Deputies to the National Assembly may question the President of the Republic, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, Ministers and other members of the Government, the President of the Supreme People’s Court and the Procurator General. The person who is questioned must answer in person to the National Assembly at its session. In case investigation is required, the National Assembly may decide to convey the question either to Standing Committee or to the next session, or by written response. The deputies to the National Assembly may also require the state agencies, social organizations, economic organizations, and the armed force units to answer any questions put to them. The Head of such agencies, organizations and units are obliged to answer within the period of time as provided by the law. The fundamentals of Marxism are about full and complete human liberation—not so different from anarchist aspirations. As Marx once wrote, All socialists see anarchy as the following program: Once the aim of the proletarian movement — i.e., abolition of classes — is attained, the power of the state, which serves to keep the great majority of producers in bondage to a very small exploiter minority, disappears, and the functions of government become simple administrative functions.”46 The differences are over the road to liberation.

The United States is a federal republic. It is federal because most of its powers are devolved to the local states. The federal government, although given the highest and widest power and governance, most of its powers are exercised by the state and local political units. Three levels of power and governance govern the United States. The federal level of governance is given the authority to control and manage the national affairs of the United States. The national or federal government is responsible for regulating the internal affairs between its states, providing for national defense, managing the national economy, and dealing with the relationships with other sovereign states and other international entities. The state level of power and governance in the United States politics has the responsibility of managing the more internal and local affairs of their respective political subdivision. The area of control for this state government is only limited to its boundaries. To further devolutionize and empower the locals and citizens, the most localized level of the United States politics is the local government. This local government handles and manages almost the household level of social concerns. They are in the form of city, county, town, or districts of the said geopolitical area. However, in civil law countries, the judge is usually the main investigator, and the lawyer’s role is to advise a client on legal proceedings, write legal pleadings, and help provide favorable evidence to the investigative judge. Enterprises in Yugoslavia operated under soft-budget constraints (Kornai, 1980). Although there were more bankruptcies in Yugoslavia than in other socialist countries, the more frequent measure was the socialisation of losses through the redistribution of resources from profit-making to loss-making firms. The lack of enterprises’ financial discipline also derived from the low cost of capital, since interest rates on bank credits remained negative in real terms (Uvalić, 1992). The Yugoslav economy was also characterised by an overinvestment drive (Kornai, 1980), very high investment rates which were realised until the 1980s, rather than by underinvestment as proposed by the LMF literature. In Yugoslavia this was not accomplished through objectives set in central plans, but through more decentralised mechanisms (as described previously). Other socialists, however, did not accept the violent, undemocratic nature of that course, although they agreed that capitalism was unjust and unstable. The left’s role, in the view of these democratic socialists” — the Czech-Austrian theorist Karl Kautsky , for instance — was to remind citizens of capitalism’s defects and rally popular support for an alternative economic system that would end private ownership and assert popular control over the means of production.

On the question of the effects of imperialist domination on the social structure and historical process of our peoples, we should first of all examine the general forms of imperialist domination. There are at least two forms: the first is direct domination, by means of a power made up of people foreign to the dominated people (armed forces police, administrative agents and settlers); this is generally called classical colonialism or colonialism is indirect domination, by a political power made up mainly or completely of native agents; this is called neocolonialism. Limitation of actions: The State of Limitations sets down times within which proceedings must be brought. If no action is taken within the prescribed time limits, any future action is said to be statute-barred. In negligence claims, where there is no personal injury , the limit is six years. Where there is personal injury , the limit is three years. In a fatal injury case, it’s three years from the date of death. In a claim involving breach of a simple contract (not under seal), the limit is six years. With personal injury arising from breach of contract, it’s three years (or three years from the date of death). With a specialty contract (under seal), the period’s 12 years, as it is for actions involving land. The maximum period for recovery of arrears of tax or rent is six years. This working class, whatever the level of its political consciousness (given a certain minimum, namely the awareness of its own needs), seems to constitute the true popular vanguard of the national liberation struggle in the neocolonial case. There are two main sources of law in Australia, case law or common law, based on the decisions of judges in the superior courts, and legislation, the law made by Parliament. Hate this lens? Then let me know. Tell me in as much detail as humanly possible what you hate, who you hate, where you do your hating, when are peak hating hours (4 A.M. ? 5 P.M. ?), when is National Hate Hippies Day, that sort of stuff, why you hate this lens or why you hate hippies, and how to improve this lens other than deleting it. It is too popular for deletion. Now you know I am crazy enough to publish what you have to say unedited except for the fact that children wander into my lenses and so keep profanity to a minimum. Hippies are not classifiable as “liberal” or “conservative” or “radical”. I have academic research on this so trust me on this point. On an anecdotal aside, a hippie chick might dress traditionally like your great-grandmother in a granny dress. That’s rather conservative. A lot of square women just wear pantsuits so that they will look like men. Some hippie chicks will find warm climes so that they don’t have to wear clothes at all like Aunt Eve (ever heard of Adam and Eve?). That”s rather ultraconservative or even reactionary when you think about it. So forget imposing your ideas of politics on us.
