Joel Dixon – 7
Came up against old side and was booed early on by his former club’s supporters. Produced brilliant save to deny Sea’s bicycle kick as full-time approached.
Gethin Jones – 7
Had chance cleared off the line early on, and was dependable as always on the right flank.
Harry Brockbank – 7
Given an opportunity in central defence and looked okay in the role. Later went to right-back when several changes were made in the second half.
Alex Baptiste – 7
Fairly solid at the back from the veteran and did well with aerial balls throughout the encounter.
Declan John – 7
Got forward fairly well but struggled to snuff out threats from Barrow down the left in parts of the first half. Afolayan partnership continues to prove productive.
MJ Williams – 7
On the ball a lot and helped to drive Bolton forward at times. Was taken off before the hour mark.
Kieran Lee – 6
Played further forward up the pitch with Thomason. Was taken off before the hour.
George Thomason – 7
Showed great energy in the middle as always – later went into the holding midfield role after Williams went off.
Nathan Delfouneso – 6
Got on the ball in the final third but wasn’t alble to create much of note – replaced before the hour mark.
Eoin Doyle – 6
Not many chances in the first half but showed intelligence to set up Afolayan before the break.
Oladapo Afolayan – 7
Looked promising at times going forward and produced a sublime finish to open the scoring. Replaced after the hour mark.
Josh Sheehan – 7
Bright on the ball after coming on and looked to have shirt pulled back in the box on one occasion, which could have been a penalty.
Skipper aw a near post effort go wide from a corner and got involved in the final third.
Ronan Darcy – 6
Went to the right flank of the attack after coming on and did not look out of place.
Dennis Politic – 7
Went to the left flank when he came on and impressed on his return from injury with a decent cameo which he will be pleased with, also delivered a corner which Sarcevic stabbed wide.
Liam Gordon – 6
Replaced John for the final 20 minutes or so of the game and slotted into the left-back role he has impressed in so far in pre-season.
Amadou Bakayoko – 5
Headed over a cross in one half chance which presented itself to him during closing stages.
Andrew Tutte – 6
Assumed the holding midfield role after Thomason went off, and then went to centre half alongside Senior at the end.
Adam Senior – 6
Youngster again did not look out of place in senior men’s football in the heart of defence in brief spell towards the end of game.
Ali Crawford – 6
Went into the number 10 role after coming on in the closing stages. Played a couple of nice balls through the middle of the park.
