Julian Assange Has Formally Requested a Pardon From President Donald Trump

Julian Assange formally requested a pardon from President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning, the Gateway Pundit can now reveal.

People from across the political spectrum have called on President Trump to pardon the WikiLeaks founder, citing the importance of the freedom to publish.

Assange’s fiancé Stella Morris, the mother of his two young children, has previously called for a pardon — but a formal request was not filed with the White House until this week.

Assange is imprisoned in the United Kingdom pending a decision about his extradition to the United States where he faces charges under the Espionage Act for his publication of the Iraq and Afghan War Logs. If convicted he could face a maximum sentence of 175 years for the “crime” of publishing material that the US government did not want the population to know.

Viral Panic

Situated between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties on the California coast, Ventura County boasts a population of about 850,000, living amidst pristine beaches, occasionally snowcapped mountains, and plentiful farmland. Since April, Ventura County’s 7-day rolling average for deaths attributed to Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) has only barely exceeded 2 a handful of times, and for the past 14 days our County has had one death due to the Coronavirus. Only 0.02{1b1a587643a9e9b1244ae3f96d242e13c62224c25ebdf73114e48122c41a7985} of the population has succumbed to Covid-19 and to the best of my ability to determine, all of these poor souls were elderly and/or had comorbidities.

The number of cases per 100,000 has now increased to over 15, but (thank God) while some are being hospitalized, and some even have been placed in Intensive Care Units (ICU), there are still plenty of hospital beds and ventilators in the County. Yet, Ventura County was relegated to the most restrictive of California’s … Read the rest

Pres-by-CD: Daily Kos Elections’ project to calculate the results of the 2020 presidential election for all 435 congressional districts makes its next stop in Georgia, which Democrats not only won for the first time since 1992 but which of course is also hosting two crucial runoffs that will determine control of the Senate. Because of this special situation, we’re bringing you results for the presidential race and both Senate races as they played out on Nov. 3.

We have our usual county-by-county breakdowns for president and for the regular Senate race between Republican Sen. David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff. But because the special Senate election featured 20 candidates on the ballot, we’ve sliced the … Read the rest

To No One’s Surprise – Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson Is A Product of a George Soros Secretary of State Program from 2010

To no one’s surprise, Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson was backed for her current position by a George Soros connected entity.

Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, has a storied history of corruption.  We first heard of her when she misprinted military ballots and removed President Trump from the ballots in the 2020 election.  The President knew this was intentional and let the world know it:

BREAKING: Trump Slams “Trump-Hater Secretary Of State of Michigan” For “Purposely” Misprinting Trump Ticket On Military Ballots

Maybe when she messed with the military ballots, Benson knew that Michigan military ballots would all be bastardized in Detroit anyways the day following the election, and updated to record Joe Biden for President:

PURE EVIL: Democrat Operatives in Michigan and Georgia Tampered with Military Ballots — Filled Out New Ones 100{1b1a587643a9e9b1244ae3f96d242e13c62224c25ebdf73114e48122c41a7985} MARKED FOR JOE BIDEN

Most recently Benson intervened in the Dominion case in Northern … Read the rest

Who Is Caesar to the Church?

This summer, Grace Community Church (GCC) in California, a megachurch pastored by John McArthur, a highly influential leader in American Evangelicalism, issued a statement, Christ, Not Caesar, is Head of the Church: A Biblical Case for the Duty of the Church to Remain Open. A few weeks later, Bradford Littlejohn, president of the Davenant Institute, a collection of scholars committed to classical Protestantism, posted a widely linked 7,400 word response in which he argued the statement by GCC represented “unsound reasoning” and concluded that McArthur is “a confused shepherd, leading countless sheep straight into the line of fire.” At bottom, Littlejohn argues, GCC lacks the expertise to second guess the civil government’s closure policies. While GCC’s statement does paint too boldly in black and white, Littlejohn’s criticism of the statement would seem to have churches defer too reflexively to civil authority, effectively ceding decisions over the spiritual welfare of … Read the rest

MI Attorney Responsible For Forensic Examination Of 16 Dominion Machines Gets Threatening Call From MI State Bar… Radical MI AG Nessel Threatens “MI Lawyers” Supporting Trump

Tomorrow at 8:30 AM, in Michigan’s 13th Circuit Court, Judge Kevin A. Elsenheimer will decide if he will allow Constitutional Attorney Matthew DePerno of the DePerno Law Firm to release the Kraken.

At 5:30 PM on Friday, December 4, Judge Elsenheimer granted permission to DePerno’s client, William Bailey, and his team of IT experts to conduct a forensic study of the 16 Dominion voting machines, tabulators, thumb drives, related software, and the Clerk’s “master tabulator” used in the November elections in Antrim County, MI. In the judge’s court order, the plaintiff, Mr.Bailey, was also granted the ability to conduct an independent investigation of the images they obtained in their examination.

After 8 hours, the collection was complete. With 16 CF cards (similar to SIM cards), 16 thumb drives, and forensic images of the Dominion voting machines in hand, the IT team was escorted to the local Antrim County … Read the rest

Marx, Machiavelli, and Black Lives Matter

Some three decades ago, as the Soviet empire was falling apart, many of my well-educated colleagues in political theory either reduced or eliminated the time formerly devoted in their survey courses to the thought of Marx and Engels. Given the massive failure of Marxist communism as a political and economic system, to say nothing of the more than 100 million deaths inflicted by Marxian regimes during the 20th century, these now seemed irrelevant to political life. Under such circumstances, to take Marxist thought seriously in a course that otherwise covered profound texts by such giants as Plato and Aristotle, Hobbes and Locke, Rousseau and Nietzsche seemed to make about as much sense as including the study of astrology in a course on astronomy, or of alchemy in a chemistry course.

How quickly time passes! There cannot be many Americans under the age of 45 who have the foggiest recollection of … Read the rest

Abbreviated Pundit Roundup: The indelible stain of Republican sedition

NY Times:

An Indelible Stain’: How the G.O.P. Tried to Topple a Pillar of Democracy

The Supreme Court repudiation of President Trump was also a blunt rebuke to Republican leaders who had put their interests ahead of the country’s.

“The act itself by the 126 members of the United States House of Representatives, is an affront to the country,” said Michael Steele, the former chairman of the Republican National Committee. “It’s an offense to the Constitution and it leaves an indelible stain that will be hard for these 126 members to wipe off their political skin for a long time to come.”

Remember when we were earnestly told that electing veterans to Congress would help curb rabid partisanship? They’d put country over party. Rep. Michael Waltz and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (and their impressive service records) are making me seriously rethink that proposition. https://t.co/DLs6ZwwSII

Sidney Powell Asks the Supreme Court to Intervene and Decertify States’ Results in Michigan, Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin

Sidney Powell filed new cases in four states yesterday, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.  She now is asking the  Supreme Court to intervene and immediately de-certify these states’ results in the 2020 election.

The Epoch Times reports:

Attorney Sidney Powell is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to immediately intervene in her lawsuits challenging the integrity and outcome of the 2020 elections in four states.

In an announcement on Friday, Powell said she had filed emergency requests to the nation’s top court, asking the justices to order officials in Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona to immediately de-certify their 2020 election results and to prevent the states’ presidential electors from casting votes in the electoral college.

An emergency filing is also anticipated for her Wisconsin case. The filings aim to maintain the status quo in the states in order to give the Supreme Court time to consider the allegations presented in
